Food @ St Philips

It's all in the name: Food @ St Philips! A willing band of volunteers organises food and drink for church feasts, such as our annual Advent dinner and the Easter celebration breakfast. They also cater for other special parish events.

For example, after the first festive Eucharist of Easter, we celebrate with a breakfast feast, from 8am to 9.30. The Food @ St Philip's cooks and servers keep busy. We all enjoy the food and fellowship! Pancakes go well; the eggs and bacon soon disappear!

Food @ St Philip's also caters for some events held at the church. Proceeds are donated to the Parish's mission funds.

A Collect for Coffee Almighty God, who in your mercy provides all things for our goodwill and maintenance, as we pour our coffee, pour out your blessings upon the farmers, harvesters, distributors, roasters, brewers, and all others who participate in the manifold tasks required to provide your people with that most useful and essential beverage, that we, your church, might continue to enjoy its benefits to the glory of your kingdom and for the sake of your only Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
