Creation Sunday

On Creation Sunday we give thanks for all of Creation — especially the Earth with its abundance and beauty.

We pray for the right use of the resources of the earth, its protection and care.

A good time to celebrate the fruitfulness of the Earth is Spring and Creation Sunday is usually the Sunday nearest to feast of Francis of Assisi (4 October). Francis is renowned for his love of every living thing.
