Leviticus 19

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

2 Speak to all the congregations of Israel and say to them:

You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

For me, this is a definition of righteousness, and righteousness comes before justice and justice comes before peace.

Day four had a quotation from Laurence Freeman in which he said: "Holiness is the presence of God in the human beings who are God's image. Becoming holy is then simply the conscious reunion of image and original."
