Dead with the Dead

   fallen

      fallen down

          down

              into the depths, to the deepest,

abandoned

    utterly abandoned.

in nothing

in the darkness, the dust, the silence.


Here — there is no Praise of God

Here — there is no god

only — this god, this man, this dead

  this one who came

     this one who fell

        to the depths

to the deepest depths

of the abyss.
