SPCK

The SPCK Book of Christian Prayer (London: SPCK, 1995) is a superb collection of prayers, introduced by a compilation of "Approaches to Prayer", seven of which we share this week.

The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge was founded in 1698 by Thomas Bray and a small group of friends. Today, SPCK is a Society incorporated by Royal Charter and a leading independent publisher of Christian books and resources—some for sale and others given away free to people who need them.

Dr Margaret Olley AC.

Dr Margaret Olley AC (1923-2011) was an Australian painter who, later in her life, concentrated on colorful interiors, still life and flower paintings—frequently made in her Paddington home. We enjoy some of her flower paintings of flowers.

The music is sacred works performed by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (Eesti Filharmoonia Kammerkoor).
